So I've been following the whole Euro 2008 just like the rest of the expats in Dubai (see My Night as a Soccer Hooligan).

Last night Germany played Turkey in the semi-finals, but with Liz's visa situation and my final final exam, I wasn't really in the mood to be a rowdy soccer fan.

Luckily I'll still have a chance (providing my German friend is still in town) as Germany won, 3-2. They're going to the finals!

Yup, on June 29th Germany will play either Russia or Spain in the final match!
