One of the most ... interesting things I noticed when I got to Dubai was that there were no addresses. I found that odd for a city with one and a half million people. I guess, in my Western-bias, that I assumed that everyone on the planet had a street address.

Well now it looks like we're getting them. Apparently this new fangled system "will be based on the street names and house or building numbers".

Huh.
