So our "legitimate" newspaper in these parts, Gulf News, really outdid themselves with this headline today:

were married in August of 2006. Liz has
lived in Dubai since 2003 and Josh
since, well, August of 2006.
After careful consultation with experts
(i.e. the people at The Newlywed Game)
it was determined that a "newlywed" is
anyone who has been married for
fewer than two years. Therefore the
name still applies in this, Year Two of
"Newlywed in Dubai".
