What was different, however, was who was trying to drive me off the road.
It was a Chevrolet Spark!
Now, we have lots of cars here in Dubai that don't exist in the States. But mostly they're Toyotas or Nissans, "foreign" automakers. To see a American Chevrolet that I've never heard of before ... that's weird.
Also it's a freakin' tiny.
Tiny.
It's not even 11 1/2 feet long (3495 mm) and not quite five feet wide (1495 mm).
Tiny.
Apparently they're big in India and made in South Korea by Daewoo (which is owned by General Motors).
Why anyone would want one in Dubai ... that's beyond me. This is a land of H3s, Land Cruisers, Escalades. To have a Chevy Spark is even goofier than driving a Toyota Echo!
