It was for Dubai-based Emirates Airlines!!
The very airline that is now allowing passengers to use their cell phones in-flight (see Emirates Airlines Takes a Nosedive) and is starting a daily non-stop flight from LA (see Los Angeles to Dubai non-stop).
They advertise a ton in Europe during rugby and soccer - they even have the naming rights to the Arsenal stadium - it's called Emirates Stadium. But this, this is a big leap for Emirates. Unless maybe they advertise regularly at the Tokyo Dome?
