This week the Road and Transport Authority announced plans for a sixth crossing of Dubai Creek, and naturally it's going to be the world's longest arched bridge.

When completed in four years the bridge will be 1,600 meters long with a 205-meter-high and 667-meter-long arch.

The twelve lane bridge (not counting the Green Line of the Dubai Metro) will cost a total of 3 billion dirhams ($817 million).

Maybe they can get the big dig company to do it and then it will be the most expensive project in the world as well as the longest bridge construction time on the worlds largest arched bridge. Seems as though three worlds biggests on one project is right up their alley.
